What flytag is

A place to keep your own professional documents, be reminded before they expire, and show them to someone when asked. It is a filing cabinet, not an authority.

flytag is a professional document management and credential-sharing tool. It is not an aviation authority and does not replace official licences, certificates, company records, regulatory requirements or maintenance organisation procedures. Information extracted by AI must be reviewed by the user. A “Current” status in flytag only indicates that the stored document expiration date has not passed; it does not constitute regulatory verification, qualification approval or authorization to perform aircraft maintenance.

Who runs it

flytag is not yet operated through a registered company, and we would rather say so than name one that does not exist. Reach us at support@flytag.app.

Your account

One account is one person. Keep your password to yourself: anyone who has it can see every document in your wallet. If you think someone else has it, change it and use “Sign out on all devices” from your profile.

We confirm your email address before you can sign in, by sending a link to it. An address we cannot reach is an account that cannot be recovered and a reminder that arrives nowhere, so it has to be one you actually read. If the message does not arrive you can ask for another, and if we cannot send it at all your account is still created and waiting — nothing is lost, and no wallet opens on an address nobody has answered.

You may delete your account at any time from Profile. Everything goes with it, immediately and permanently.

Your documents stay yours

Uploading a document gives us no ownership of it and no right to use it for anything except running the service for you — storing it, showing it back to you, reading it when you ask, and serving it to whoever opens a link you created. What we do with it is set out on the privacy page.

Upload only documents that are yours or that you are entitled to hold.

Reads

Having a document read by AI costs one read. Everything else — storing documents, packs, share links, reminders, typing a credential in yourself — is free and has no limit. A new account starts with 3 reads, and reads never expire.

No payment is being taken at present: nothing on this deployment charges a card, and the top-up screen grants reads without one. These terms will say otherwise before that changes.

With no reads left nothing stops. Documents still upload, still store, still sit in packs and still remind you — they are simply not read for you, and the form comes up empty to fill in.

Sharing

A share link is a secret: anyone holding it can see what it points at until it expires or you revoke it. Send it to the person who asked for it and no one else. Revoking is immediate, from your Shares screen.

What we do not promise

flytag is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and your documents intact, but we do not guarantee that it will be reachable at every moment, and it is not a system of record: keep your originals. An expiry reminder is a convenience, not a compliance control — staying current is yours to do.

AI reading is a shortcut for typing, and it can be wrong. Every read document is shown to you to check before it is saved, and what you confirm is what is stored.

Ending it

You can leave whenever you like by deleting your account. We may close an account that is being used to break these terms — for fraud, or for uploading someone else’s documents — and will say why when we do.

Getting in touch

Write to support@flytag.app. That is a real mailbox read by the people who build flytag, and it is the only one — anything about your account, your documents or this page goes there.

Changes

These terms will change as flytag does; the date at the top says when they last did. If a change materially reduces what you get, we will say so rather than quietly reissuing the page.
